To provide a rich summer program for students inclusive of math, reading, writing, listening, speaking, music, arts and enrichment activities. To provide targeted students the Summer Achieve 3000 Intensive. The summer school administrator would oversee the operations and management for all Rising 5 through 8 programs with a population of up to 500 students. The position would begin in April with hiring of staff, communicating program details to the community, and making sure all systems are in place for a successful and enriching summer learning program. Candidates must possess: - Appropriate NYS certification - Demonstrated positive, interpersonal relationships with students, parents, and staff - Demonstrated success in advancing the development of skills for high academic achievement - Demonstrated ability to create systems and manage logistics to organize a safe and effective learning environment. - Strong skills in working with struggling readers
