The Florida Union Free School District seeks candidates for a probationary teaching position in NYS certification in General Science and Physics. Additional certification in other related areas is highly desirable. Specific attributes sought include:Enjoy teaching middle and high school aged students.Have some experience with general science in grades 7 & 8, as well as with the NYS grade 8 science assessment. Experience in Regents level Physics.Use creative instructional practices, such as problem and project based learning to inspire and motivate students to appreciate education, while possessing a sense of humor.Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
