Manage the classroom and individual student behavior to maintain a productive and supportive learning environment.Engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth; actively seek professional learning opportunities.Develop students’ 21st century skills through project-based learning, utilizing innovative technology, and differentiated instruction.Be willing and able to work in a collaborative teaching environment, including co-planning, co-teaching, and interdisciplinary planning.Develop lesson plans and learning activities with clear objectives and success criteria aligned to NYS standards.Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress and modify instructional methods to fit individual student's needs.Encourages family involvement in a student's education and maintains effective communication and relationships with students and families. Salary established by the East Rockaway Teachers Association Contract for the 2024-2025 school year.
