We are committed to ensuring that all students—regardless of background or ability—receive high-quality, inclusive education that prepares them for lifelong success.Position Overview: We are currently seeking passionate, dedicated, and skilled Special Education Teachers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and work collaboratively with general education staff, support personnel, and families to support student growth.Responsibilities:Develop and implement IEPs that meet students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs.Deliver differentiated instruction aligned with NYS Learning Standards.Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff to support inclusive practices.Provide accommodations, modifications, and interventions to promote student success.Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and documentation required by federal, state, and district regulations.Participate in CSE meetings and professional development opportunities.Qualifications:Valid NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2, Grades 1–6, Grades 7–12, or equivalent based on assignment).Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working in inclusive or self-contained special education settings preferred.
