We are looking for a caring, motivated, and dedicated individual who is eager to support student learning and contribute to our collaborative team.Requirements:Valid New York State Teacher Assistant Certificate or New York State Teaching CertificateResponsibilities:Work under the supervision and direction of a classroom teacher.Supervise and support students throughout the school day.Provide additional instruction, guidance, and attention to students as needed.Remain actively engaged during class sessions to support learning.Reinforce lessons by reviewing material with students individually or in small groups.Assist in preparing lesson plans and class materials.Prepare the classroom and materials prior to instruction.Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment by enforcing school and classroom expectations.Assist with instructional preparation, including organizing materials and setting up equipment.Support teachers with recordkeeping tasks such as attendance and grading.Supervise and monitor students during transitions, lunch, breaks, and recess.
