Description: The East Quogue School District is searching for an elementary self-contained special education teacher for our great district on the south fork of Eastern Long Island. *New York State Certification: Students with Disabilities Birth-2 & 1-6* Master's Degree (Preferred)*Experience with Behavior Intervention Plans*Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis*Experience with Self-Contained Environments*Experience with Specialized Curriculums   *Extended School Year Expected- July and August- 6 Weeks  Expected Start Date: August 29, 2024 Responsibilities: ·         Work with small groups for instruction within the classroom.·         Differentiate teaching methods to accommodate individual needs.·         Create and maintain a warm and inclusive classroom environment.·         Collaborate with peers to improve teaching methodology and learning.·         Working closely with all stakeholders·         Experience with Frontline IEP·         Experience with behavioral strategies
