Description: The East Quogue School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our school community on the eastern end of Long Island. This position supports classroom instruction and helps maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for all students. Responsibilities: Work under the direct supervision of a classroom teacher Supervise and monitor students throughout the school day Remain present, attentive, and engaged during instructional periods Support classroom instruction by reviewing and reinforcing lesson material with students Assist in maintaining a structured classroom environment by reinforcing school and classroom expectations Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce skills introduced by the teacher or teaching assistant Distribute and collect instructional materials, including workbooks and assignments Assist with student supervision during recess, lunch, assemblies, emergency drills, and field trips Help maintain accurate attendance records Support daily routines, including snack, lunch, and classroom cleanup Perform other duties as assigned by administration
