Location: District Office Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Effective: September 3, 2024 Description: The Elwood UFSD is seeking a highly qualified Special Education Coordinator The coordinator is a member of the Elwood Teachers’ Alliance and reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education. Skills Required: Experience chairing CSE meetings and writing prior written notices, comprehensive understanding of Federal and State regulations pertaining to Special Education and Section 504 Accommodation Plans, Three to five years’ experience working with students in Special Education, Excellent communication and organizational skills Qualifications: Current NYS certification as a school psychologist, social worker, or special education teacher required Compensation: In accordance with the contract between the District and the Elwood Teachers’ AllianceCandidates representing a diverse background are strongly encouraged to apply
