The Elwood School District is seeking a highly qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) effective July 2023. The Social Worker will report to the Executive Director of Special Education and the building principal.Requirements: Current NYS School Social Worker certification required Minimum of five years of experience working in the field Knowledge of community-based supports including Office of Mental Health services for familiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to address barriers that limit a student from receiving the full benefit from their educational experienceExperience working in the multi-tiered level of support model for the delivery of support servicesKnowledge of Character Education, Wellness, and Mindfulness programs to assist students with developing positive social skills and mental health practicesBilingual preferred Compensation: In accordance with the contract between the District and the Elwood Teacher’s AllianceCandidates representing a diverse background are strongly encouraged to apply.
