Location: Elwood-John H. Glenn High School Effective: September 2026 Description: The Elwood UFSD is seeking a highly qualified/certified Business teacher for a full-time position at the secondary school level. Develop and implement rigorous lesson plans in Business and Career & Technical Education (CTE) courses that exceed New York State standards. Cultivate partnerships with local Elwood businesses to facilitate guest lectures, internships, and work-based learning opportunities. Maintain transparent and proactive communication with families regarding student progress and the value of financial education. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where all perspectives are valued. Demonstrate continuous professional growth and a "positive mindset" toward educational innovation. Requirements: Current NYS certification in Business is required; Additional NYS Certification in a secondary area is preferred Compensation: In accordance with the contract between the District and the Elwood Teachers’ Alliance.
