Location: Elwood Middle School Effective: On or about November 2025 Description: The Elwood UFSD is seeking a highly qualified/certified Special Education Teacher for a position in Elwood Middle School. The candidate must have experience working with students who are classified with varying disabilities. Applicant must have a repertoire of evidence based instructional strategiesAbility to use appropriate technologies to support instructional needsExperience co-teaching in academic classes preferredKnowledge/experience implementing IEPs Possess strong classroom management skillsAbility to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of studentsCandidate should have good interpersonal, written/oral communication and organizational skillsRequirements: Students with Disabilities (All Grades) Certificate or Students with Disabilities Certificate Grades 5-9 or 7-12 and currently employed or experience being a special education teacherCompensation: In accordance with the agreement between the District and the Elwood Alliance of Teachers.Elwood School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer
