The Elmsford Union Free School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at Alexander Hamilton Jr./Sr. High School. This position plays a critical role in maintaining student health and safety within the school environment. Position Overview Location: Alexander Hamilton Jr./Sr. High School, Elmsford, NY. Grades Served: 7–12. Employment Type: Full-Time. Start Date: 2026-2027 school year. Key Responsibilities Provide immediate medical care and first aid to students and staff. Maintain accurate student health records, including immunization compliance. Conduct mandated health screenings, such as vision, hearing, and physical exams for grades 7, 9, and 11. Coordinate with the school physician, staff, and parents regarding student health plans. Oversee the administration of medications and manage the school health office. Qualifications License: Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license. Certification: Valid CPR and AED certification for Healthcare Providers. Experience: Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or emergency medicine is preferred.
