Elmsford Union Free School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for all students, and our Teacher Aides play a vital role in achieving this mission.Responsibilities:Assist the classroom teacher with instructional and non-instructional tasks.Provide one-on-one or small group support to students under the direction of the teacher.Help prepare classroom materials and organize learning resources.Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and in common areas (e.g., cafeteria, playground).Assist with maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.Support students with special needs as required, following individualized education plans (IEPs) and teacher guidance.Help with clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and record-keeping.Foster a positive and respectful relationship with students, staff, and parents.Adhere to all school district policies and procedures.
