Alexander Hamilton High School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geometry Teacher to cover a temporary leave from March 17th to March 28th, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engaging and effective instruction in Geometry to high school students.Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Geometry, following established curriculum and lesson plans.Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.Utilize available resources and technology to enhance instruction.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.Valid New York State teaching certification in Mathematics (preferred).Experience teaching Geometry at the high school level.
