We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team and inspire our students in our math courses.Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mathematics Teacher to instruct students in grades 7-12 mathematics courses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and be able to effectively communicate these concepts. This role requires a commitment to creating engaging and challenging lessons that promote deep understanding and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans aligned with NYS Learning Standards for Mathematics.Teach a range of mathematics courses, including but not limited to Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in mathematics education. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.Provide extra help and support to students as needed.Potentially sponsor math-related clubs or activities.
