Summary of Position: The Elmsford Union Free School District is seeking an experienced, high-impact, systems-oriented High School Principal who leads through presence, inquiry, vision, and continuous improvement at Alexander Hamilton High School. Staff Development & Supervision: Experience in recruiting, hiring, developing, and evaluating highly effective educators and support staff. Fiscal Management: Sound knowledge of school budget development and management. Community Engagement: A strong desire to engage with parents, community organizations, and local stakeholders to build partnerships that benefit students and the school. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound and timely decisions. Qualifications: NYS School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS) or School District Leader (SDL) Certification required. Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a high school principal or similar administrative leadership role preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience at the high school level is required. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
