Anticipated:The job description of the Building Principal represents a high level administrative position in the line organization of the school district. The nature of this position places direct responsibilities on the building principal making him/her accountable for the many and varied aspects of the educational program of the school. The Principal is the intermediary officer between the Superintendent of Schools and the teaching staff, non-teaching personnel, students, and parents within his/her building. As such, the building principal is the leader for the educational program of the building and for enforcing the policies of the Board of Education as well as the procedures, and practices as specified by the central office administration.Qualifications:2 Years’ Experience in the title or similar role/title; SBL required & SDL certification recommended; Educational studies/degree in Education Technology/Educational LeadershipNote: Recruitment will begin immediately and be ongoing until a suitable candidate is hired at which point the posting will formally close.
