The Elmsford UFSD is looking for a Part Time (0.8) Speech and Language Pathologist Teacher. The successful candidate will provide appropriate individual programs of therapy to meet individual student's needs and correct existing speech or language disabilities; provide information, support and counseling to parents and families and assists in making referrals; participate with other members of student personnel team in case conferences; establish short and long range program goals which are consistent with the general philosophy of the school system; prepare and record plans for individual and small group lessons; assess the progress of students on a continuing basis, provides progress reports, and holds appropriate conferences.Appropriate NYS certification required. Medicaid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
