Art Teacher, Leave ReplacementBeginning September 12, 2024Waverly School The Waverly School is seeking a candidate to fill an Art Teacher Leave Replacement Position. The position consists of teaching Art to grades K and 1. The position will begin September 12 and extend approximately 6-8 weeks.Requirements:NYS certification: Art K-12NYSED Fingerprint Clearance* Employment Terms:Per diem leave replacement assignment beginning September 2024Salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $61,939 - $85,725, at a per diem rate of 1/200; step placement contingent upon prior related experience. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
