Minimum Qualifications:NYS Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Experience as school-based speech therapist working with pre-kindergarten through age 21 students with disabilities, or having credentials to perform these dutiesDuties may include:Providing IEP mandated Speech Therapy services to middle and high school studentsParticipating on a multidisciplinary evaluation team for preschool aged childrenProviding school-based school improvement speech services at the elementary levelThe SLP must have experience with conducting initial evaluations and reevaluations for students aged 3 to 21. They must also have experience with report writing, data collection, and being an active participant on a Committee on Special Education.
