POSITION: American Sign Language Teacher Part Time AppointmentLOCATION: High SchoolQUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certified (or certifiable) in American Sign Language and/or Deaf & Hearing Impaired. Familiarity with current research, methodology and learning standards in American Sign Language. Previous background/ experience desirable.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are examples of typical duties associated with the position; but the list is not all inclusive, and other duties appropriate to the position may also be assigned.1.
