We are currently seeking a qualified ENL Teacher to join our team and play a key role in supporting the language development and academic success of our English language learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENL instruction, a commitment to creating engaging and effective lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students.Position: ENL TeacherLocation: Coxsackie-Athens Central School District24 Sunset Blvd Coxsackie NY 12051Type: Full-timeStart Date: September 2025Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ENL lessons to a diverse group of students.Monitor students' language proficiency and progress.Administer NYS Assessments such as the NYSITELL and NYSESLATCreate a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters English Language development.Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective language programs.Work in collaboration with Building Leaders to ensure translation needs are met.Provide constructive feedback to students and support their language learning journey.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.Teaching certification (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA) is preferred.Proven experience in teaching ESL/ENL to different age groups and proficiency levels.Strong intercultural communication skills.Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Professional development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for career growth.How to Apply:In addition to applying on OLAS.
