POSITION: Special Education TeacherLong Term Substitute QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certified in Special Education required; familiarity with current research, methodology and learning standards in special education. Previous background/ experience working with disabled children is desirable.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are examples of typical duties associated with the position; but the list is not all inclusive, and other duties appropriate to the position may also be assigned.1. Delivery of Special Education program;2. Participation as required and/or able, on building and district curriculum or program committees;3.
