This role assists in the areas of finance, purchasing, compliance and general office operations, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all duties.Responsibilities & Duties? Support the School Business Officer with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks.- Assist in preparing reports, records and correspondence related to school finances, budgets and operations.- Process purchase orders, invoices and reimbursements in accordance with district and state policies.- Provide clerical support, including scheduling, filing and document management.- Assist with compliance requirements, audits and recordkeeping.- Communicate with staff, vendors and external partners regarding business office matters.- Support the management of contracts, bids and vendor relations- Help track expenditures and monitor budget allocations under the guidance of the School Business Officer.- Participate in fundraising events.Personal Qualities- Strong organizational and time-management skills.- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.- Effective verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Work Experience & Skills- At least 3 years of progressive operations management experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.- Minimum 2 years of work experience in data management or a comparable setting.- Prior experience working effectively in schools and/or urban communities.- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration; Master’s degree preferred in business administration.CompensationA competitive compensation package, including base salary and comprehensive benefits, is available.Applying & Selection ProcessAfter submitting your cover letter and resume to the School Business Officer, CSEE will thoroughly review your documents.
