Cleary School for the Deaf has openings for Licensed Speech Language Pathologists to teach in our 2023 six-week summer session. Positions are available in all academic programs from Pre-K through High School. NYS Certification is required.Primary Responsibilities:Plans, provides, and documents appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual student’s needs in speech, language, and auditory functioning.Serves as a resource to school staff members in the development of auditory, speech and language skills.Keeps thorough, ongoing records for the individual students on their caseload.Qualifications:NYS Certified Teacher of Speech and Language Disabled (TSSLD).Prior experience instructing students who are deaf and/or deaf with disabilities is preferred.Knowledge of ASL preferred.
