The Carle Place School District is seeking an innovative teacher with a strong foundation in elementary education principles including foundational reading and knowledge of the science of reading. Applicants must hold valid certification in Early Childhood Education (Grades B-2) and/or Childhood Education (1-6). Additional TESOL certification a plus. Key Responsibilities/Skills: Development and delivery of high quality, data-driven lessons Establishing and maintaining a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Strong ability to differentiate instruction to the varied needs of students Regular communication with parents/guardians to detail student progress Participation in faculty meetings and other district instructional activities
