Other maintenance experience and general knowledge of other trades is highly desired. Civil Service Position. Typical Duties, including but not limited to:Prepares and paints interior or exterior building surfaces and allied equipmentRepairs, cleans and assists in the installation of plumbing, heating, refrigeration, or sewer equipmentUses a variety of hand and power toolsSupervises unskilled and semiskilled personnel assigned to assist in performing dutiesRepairs and installs electrical devices and runs wiresExperience in carpentry repairs and installation of ceiling tiles, framing walls, hanging cabinets, ceramic tile work, vinyl floor repairs and carpet repairs. QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from a vocational or trade school and one year of experience in performing general or specialized maintenance and repair tasks in buildings, and on various types of machinery, equipment, furniture and toolsORThree years of satisfactory experience as outlined above.
