ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL The Cooperstown Central School District seeks a visionary leader who can work with the school community in creating an engaging learning environment that leads to the development of young readers, writers, problem-solvers and thinkers. The Principal will provide instructional leadership, and shepherd the evaluation and improvement of educational programs,collaborate with the assistant principal, faculty, staff, students, and parents to promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment that fosters mutual respect,model and promote critical and creative thinking, andbe a strong advocate for children.The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight of the K-6 Elementary School Building effective on or before July 1, 2023. NYS School Building Leader or School Administrator/Supervisor certification required. Training as Evaluator of Teachers preferred. Competitive benefit package.
