The Cooperstown Central School District has openings for Teacher Aides to work full-time, 10-month, offering $17.72 per hour plus benefits, per the Service Unit Contract. Successful Aide candidates must be available Monday through Friday when school is in session. In this role you will assist special needs students under the director of a teacher. Skills required include; but are not limited to, the ability to establish good relationships with children and others; familiarity with classroom routine; good background or knowledge in specific field where specialized duties are involved; ability to maintain confidentiality, discipline; tact; courtesy; and good judgment. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
