If you’re driven by equity, inspired by inclusion, and ready to lead with purpose—this role is for you.Qualifications:NYS certification as a School Building Leader (SBL) or School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS)Strong professional background in Special EducationKnowledge of NYS Part 200 Regulations and IEP developmentFamiliarity with positive behavior supports (e.g., TCIS) preferredStrong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skillsKey Responsibilities:Lead and supervise special education programs, staff, and students across assigned sitesEnsure compliance with IEP processes and state/federal regulations (Part 200)Create a safe, inclusive, and equitable school culture for all learnersCollaborate with component district administrators to support student placement and progressGuide instructional practices that meet diverse student needsRecruit, support, and evaluate staff using effective feedback and supervision practicesFoster meaningful engagement with families, districts, and community partnersPromote professional learning and staff development aligned with best practicesOversee daily operations, scheduling, and data-driven decision-makingLead school improvement initiatives with a focus on continuous growth and student successAdditional Requirements:Travel between school sites may be required Join Our Team:Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is committed to fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and high expectations for all students.
