The Career & Technical Education (CTE) program at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is now accepting application for a NYS Certified Teaching Assistant to work in our Machining and Welding Program, beginning in the 2023-2024 School Year. The ideal candidate will have some experience in machining, welding, or manufacturing. The CTE program provides students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers. The goal of this program is to help students develop job readiness skills relative to the welding, machining, and manufacturing occupations. Good work ethic and employable skills are taught through classroom theory and shop activities. The course curriculum will be presented by classroom instruction, shop activities, and industrial tours. This is a full-time, 10-month position that follows the school calendar.
