Cazenovia Central School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a high-quality education for students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and inclusive environment.Responsibilities:Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with a range of disabilities.Provide effective instruction in a variety of settings, including small group and individual sessions.Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and ensure student success in the general education classroom.Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and other stakeholders.Maintain accurate records and documentation.Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in special education.Qualifications:Valid state teaching license with special education certification.Experience working with middle school students with diverse learning needs preferred.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Interested candidates should apply through OLAS.
