Cazenovia Central School is searching for a highly qualified student-centered teacher elementary teacher.Successful candidates must have a valid and current NYS Teaching Certification for Childhood Education Grades 1-6;Strong working knowledge of NGLS and current curriculum;Implement reading instruction practices based in science and research, including decodable texts when needed and implementation of rigorous ELA curriculum;Use consistent school-wide practices and a variety of instructional methods to engage students in the classroom;High-quality classroom management skills;Strong ability to be a collaborative and positive team member;Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with all staff, students, parents/guardians, administrators and community members.Apply through OLAS.
