The Cazenovia Central School District is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Associate Principal to join our team. The Associate Principal (11 mos.) assists the principal in the overall administration of the school at Burton Street, the Middle School, and the High School. The purpose of this role is to substantially increase the administrative, supervisory and instructional coordination of the school. The Associate Principal serves under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, in collaboration with building principals. DUTIES Administration Serves as principal in the absence of the building principal Maintains accurate data in School Tool containing student information required for official records and reports Serves as a member of the District administrative team, actively participating in the development, implementation, and achievement of District goals. Serves as the 504 chairperson Ensures compliance with district policies and state and federal laws related to student services, discipline, safety, and confidentiality. Performs other duties as assigned consistent with the responsibilities of the position. Students Supports the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and restorative practices to foster a respectful school climate. Coordinates building supervision, including student arrival, dismissal, lunch periods, hallways, and other assigned areas. Program Coordinates and develops the testing schedule under the direction of the building principal Utilizes student performance and behavioral data to support decision-making, intervention planning, and continuous school improvement. Personnel Assists in supervising and evaluating instructional staff in accordance with district policies and applicable regulations. Evaluates instructional and non-instructional staff Certification Requirement: NYS Certification as a School Building/District Leader (SBL/SDL), Administrator Certificate, or equivalent Application Procedure: Interested candidates should apply on OLAS by July 31, 2026.
