POSITION: Technology/Computer Science Teacher (0.4 FTE) LOCATION: Watervliet Jr-Sr High SchoolSTART DATES: September 1, 2025 SALARY: $54,197 - $68,465, prorated (per WTA contract)Job Description:1. Plan culturally responsive lessons/units for a rigorous curriculum.2. Implement various teacher strategies to facilitate learning amongst diverse learners.3. Provide regular feedback to students that encourages their growth.4. Embrace student strengths and identity to create a learning environment that is highly engaging and relevant to students5. Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, related service providers, support staff, students, and families to ensure the success of all students.Minimum Qualifications:1. Current NYS Technology Certification required in Technology 7-12 and/or Computer Science 7-12.2. Knowledge of and the ability to teach classes on various technology topics, including robotics, electricity/electronics engineering, 3-D printing, CAD, design and drawing, and transportation and construction systems.3. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.4. Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.5. Ability to demonstrate job expectations.6.
