POSITION: Varsity Boys’ Basketball CoachLOCATION: Watervliet Jr/Sr High SchoolSTART DATE: November 13, 2023SALARY: $ 7,911 per contractJob Description: Organize and manage all levels of the program including scheduling, ordering of equipment, and management of coaches, in conjunction with administration. Coordinating tryouts, practice schedules, and special team events. Supervising and aiding program coaches development, as well as student conduct. Managing student/athlete performance athletically, academically and emotionally. Development and implementation of program goals, processes, and training programs. Handling of all clerical aspects of the program. Minimum Qualifications: Formal coaching-related experience required. Ability to communicate, take initiative, and coordinate multiple levels. Possess leadership skills and the ability to display sporting success. Completion of WCSD safety training and knowledge of Code of Conduct expectations. Ability to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds. Ability to demonstrate job expectations.
