Mathematics Teacher: 7-12The Waterville Central School District serves a rural community approximately 15 minutes south of Utica, New York. The Waterville CSD consists of approximately 800 students in grades PK-12 and is seeking an outstanding candidate to be a mathematics teacher at the secondary level.WCS is seeking exceptional candidates to embark on a meaningful career in Math education. As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to foster critical thinking and self-guided learning.The successful candidate will be able to instruct a variety of courses including upper level classes such as Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus or Advanced Placement coursework.The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to:Provide student-centered, engaging Mathematics instruction for a range of learners at multiple levels.Utilize assessment to inform instruction.Collaborate well with students, colleagues, and families.Possess or working towards New York State Certification in Mathematics, grades 7-12.A self-directed learner who solicits and implements feedback to improve outcomes and achieve objectives.Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to foster critical thinking and self-guided learning.Use your love of mathematics to foster confidence and meaningful engagement with the subject for our Waterville students.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and posting will remain open until filled.
