Speech Language PathologistDistrict WideWaterford-Halfmoon UFSD is seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist. The successful candidate will work collegially with general education teachers who are primarily responsible for curriculum and instruction. Work closely with reading specialists, special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school psychologists and social workers, in addition to others. Be flexible, approachable and have a positive attitude.Job description includes, but is not limited to: Providing therapy in a variety of models (individual/group, push-in/pull-out) Performing standardized and non-standardized student assessments Continual evaluation of progress of students Maintaining records and noting progress in student record as well as in the IEP Participating in team meetings regularly for each assigned student in order to maximize coordination of student goals and progress Attending IEP meetings as requested Participating in RTI meetingsMinimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited school and must currently be licensed by New York State Department of Education with the Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.Anticipated start date of September 21, 2022.
