Primary Responsibilities: Lead the varsity basketball program in a way that reflects the values of the district. Promote student-athlete development, sportsmanship, accountability, and academic responsibility. Build a positive program culture across varsity, JV, modified, and youth levels. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, assistant coaches, administration, and the athletic department. Follow all district, league, Section 2, and NYSPHSAA rules and expectations. Supervise students appropriately before, during, and after practices, games, and team activities. Requirements: NYS Coaching Certification or eligibility within 5 years of appointment Non-teachers must hold NYS coaching license First Aid, CPR, AED and Concussion Management DASA, SAVE, Child Abuse Workshops Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume to: Kyle Williams, Athletic Director KyWilliams@WHUFSD.org
