Number of Positions: 1Salary: $49,202 - $69,480, commensurate with experienceLocation: Sanford Street TLC, Glens FallsWork Hours: M-F: 8:00-2:45Responsibilities:Plans and implements student-centered, evidenced-based instructional practices that build on student assets and is culturally responsive to promote development of the whole child;Provides specially designed instruction and interventions for students' academic, social, emotional and behavior needs;Collaborates with team members including related service providers and classroom staff to develop, implement and monitor IEP accommodations, modifications, supports and goals;Plans classroom instruction through adapting methods, materials and technology to meet students' individual needs and abilities;Utilizes classroom management strategies and positive behavior interventions andsupports to promote student growth in self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making ;Evaluates and reports on students' progress at designated intervals according to school procedures;Operates under school policies, procedures, and regulations;Participates in the development of curriculum and programs, including school wide activities and program debriefs;Participates in collaborative problem-solving and planning with colleagues;Serves as case manager for assigned students;Collaborates with families, outside providers and CSEOther duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsStudents with Disabilities 1-6; ORStudents with Disabilities All Grades; ORSpecial Education K -12; ANDStudents with Disabilities B-2(preferred)Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply
