Number of Positions: 2Salary: $49,202 - $69,480 commensurate with experienceLocation: TBD (some travel required)Work Hours: TBDPlans appropriately for class presentation;Adapts methods and materials to meet students' individual needs and abilities;Orients students in regard to subject content, goals, and objectives and teach them in a consistent manner;Presents recommended course content in assigned classes;Controls and supervises classes in a manner that will be conducive to learning;Evaluates and reports on student progress at designated intervals according to established procedures;Maintains student attendance records in the prescribed manner;Operates under school policies, procedures, and regulations;Supervises the care and use of classroom equipment and supplies and maintains proper inventory procedures;Maintains supervision necessary for general student safety and control;Participates in the development of curriculum and programs;Cooperates with professional and non-professional staff of this school district and other school districts in collaborative activities;Serves as a case manager for assigned students;Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:NYS TESOL Certification;Experience with K-12 learners, part 154 regulations, modifying instruction, strong communication with families/district teams, and the ability to organize efficiently.Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
