Weedsport Elementary School is seeking candidates for a probationary teacher for third grade. Candidates should have knowledge of the needs of third grade children and be able to create a flexible and nurturing environment to meet the needs of all learners. Other qualifications include excellent oral and written communication skills, solid classroom management skills, and the ability to reflect on and improve daily instruction using data. Candidates need appropriate certification for the elementary level and experience with literacy development. Knowledge of and experience with the Science of Reading research and instructional strategies is also preferred.
