The Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School seeks a dynamic, energizing, and engaging NYS certified Social Studies Teacher grades 7-12. Applicants must be student-centered, passionate, and hard working. Candidates will be responsible for teaching Regents level courses as well as possible elective courses. The candidate should be familiar with both the NYS Regents examinations in Global History II and US History and Government.Teachers must:Plan and implement curriculum aligned with the NYS Social Studies Standards and NYS Grades 9-12 Social Studies Framework.Participate in the school community and professional development.Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.Interested in applicants should apply on OLAS no later than July 21, 2023.
