NYS certification as a SDA, SAS or SBL/SDL required for a probationary tenure track position as an Elementary Principal. This 12-month position is available immediately. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:demonstrated experience in overseeing a process of instructional improvementstrong communication and human relations skillsfamiliarity with a range of K-5 curricula and a strong emphasis on language arts and assessmentprior leadership experience at the elementary levelproven record in ensuring academic and social emotional learning outcomes for all studentsElementary Principals are responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the instructional program, support services and building operations. Other responsibilities include:engage in effective parent and community programs and servicessupervise and evaluate all certified and classified staffcoordinate the instructional program to ensure that all students achieve at the highest levelsdevelop a building budget and monitor expendituresSalary placement on the Administrative Salary Schedule with full benefits.
