ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: New York State SDA, SAS, SSBL or SDL certification and Special Education or PPS certification PROGRAM DATES*: July 6 – August 14, 2026 Staff Meeting – July 1, 2026, 9 am – 3 pm *Must be available for all dates and times posted DAYS OF WEEK: Monday through Friday HOURS: 7:45 am – 3:15 pm RATE OF PAY: As per White Plains ASA Contract QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience or ability to function as an educational leader Knowledge and demonstrated experiences in implementing standards-based instructional programs Demonstrated practice in developing effective professional development for staff, including both format and informal evaluation of staff Effective practice inorganization, student services, and parent engagement Must be willing to work beyond the summer school program hours Excellent record of attendance DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement the instructional program Participate in all professional development including professional evaluation of staff Maintain safe, orderly environment Fulfill all program responsibilities including preparation for the program Attend professional development as scheduled Supervise and evaluate staff Other duties as assigned
