The West Islip School District is seeking a Literacy Coach Leave Replacement. Candidate Qualifications:-Experience with evidence and research-based intervention literacy practices and programs; including Fundations & Wilson-Knowledge of student data collection and analysis methods to increase student learning-An understanding of the Response to Intervention process and the Multi-tiered System of Supports framework-The ability to collaborate and communicate with teachers to ensure successful program implementation Responsibilities of Position: -Provide push in and pull out literacy support for Kindergarten and Grade 1 classrooms and students. -Facilitate Fundations and Wilson lessons -Collaborate with K-5 teachers to support effective literacy instruction Required Certification(s): - Literacy (Birth-Grade 6)Anticipated Start Date: Mid April 2023Anticipated End Date: June 23, 2023Interested candidates should submit cover letter and resume through OLAS no later than March 24, 2023.
