The Valley Stream CHSD, a beautifully diverse school community, is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of School Nurse - RN. The successful candidate must possess valid Registered Nurse certification. Currently, there are two positions available for a middle school and high school. This is a ten-month position with five additional workdays over the summer for additional compensation. Essential responsibilities include athletic participation clearance, immunization schedules, working with students and families who have special considerations and collaborating with the building and district leadership teams relative to school nurse protocols and procedures.
