The Valley Stream CHSD, a beautifully diverse school community, is currently seeking candidates for a Probationary School Counselor - Restorative Practices Coordinator. The successful candidates must possess valid NYS certification. The position will encompass a modified caseload of students. The remainder of the responsibilities include taking a lead in restorative practices in the school buildings including mediation, parent outreach and conducting restorative meetings. Traiing in restorative practices will be provided by the school district. Bilingual candidates are a priority.
