Virginia Road School is seeking a passionate and skilled MTSS AIS (Academic Intervention Services) Reading Teacher to provide targeted literacy support for students in grades K-2. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early literacy development in a supportive and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide small-group reading intervention to students in need of additional support.Assess student reading levels and progress using research-based assessment tools.Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.Utilize evidence-based literacy instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension strategies.Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate with parents/guardians about student needs and achievements.Participate in team meetings, professional development, and data-driven decision-making to enhance student outcomes.Support a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student confidence and growth.
