GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Educate students about self-awareness and self-esteem, teach problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, provide individual and small group counseling services, and make referrals to outside services. Provide support to students as they transition back to school from remote learning, help sustain positive-home school relationships, and create opportunities to support student growth and development in supporting the district’s social-emotional student learning curriculum. ESSENTIAL TASKS:Reports directly to the Principal.Provide comprehensive services for students and families in our elementary school.Providing support for RTI school-wide system.Conducting classroom social skills lessons.Running student groups.Individual counseling.Crisis intervention and support.Consultations with teachers, students, families.Collaboration with community agencies.Support with families.Participate in CSE processes.School wide engagement.Perform all other duties as assigned. SALARY, HOURS & BENEFITS: Per experience and Teacher’s Contract.
